Wintry ScenesUnder microscopes I surveyed wintry scenes It was there I read the indifference of the cosmic mechanisms The sun shall forever rise and the snow forever fall on the innocent as the wicked These facts are undeniable But now the instruments and distances dissipateWintry Scenes
Milky eyes set afloat in dark room fluids Synthesize disparate fragments, scattered shards of light and language. Glands transform, becoming invisible buoys Bobbing, bouncing through oceans of becoming Two little vacuous points, black holes containing infinitely dense menageries of dancing bits of matter Washed over wi

The Black SaintThe Black Saint whispers tales of creation Through his softly parted lips Those lided eyes see past my pale presentation Gentle face promises salvation The mouth seems to say, Let me be light! The Black Saint
And light he is Passing through the prism of that little golden flower Fingers flitter across the mechanism Releasing dancing spectrums of color and sound Weaving firmament from the fabric of his breath Spinning worlds with their own mythologies out of that earthen tapestry Until they fade back into silence
Once we met in fields of emptiness

The place in questionDazed along a rainbow pretty lazed atop a grassy cloud half here, half there, yet in a glow stretched like silk across a knollThe place in question

I suppose you're up-to-speed on next year's Poetry Festival, but in case not...
I'm trying to get the word out to more Missouri area Deviants to become involved. (And you know how well it went over last year.)
More information at
[link]
and the Meetup site
[link]
Please send this to any Missouri area writers you may know who would be interested. And if you've got another stable of works to submit...please do.
Thanks!

It was 15 minutes of sleep. Andy Worhol was misquoted.
Thanks for stopping by the site and I look forward to your appearance tomorrow at the Poetry Festival in Montserrat!
I didn't know that you were on dA! Otherwise I would have mentioned it in my Journal articles.
See you tomorrow.

Three comments a day keep the deviants gay.
(...you know what I meant.)
Three random clicks on the front page: just say a few words. It's easy and good for everyone.
